ABSTRACT This study aims to derive principles of community development from the narratives of Surat Al-Kahf and examine their societal applications. Employing both inductive and deductive methodologies to analyze the Surah's stories, the research yielded several key findings. The most significant principles extracted from the four narratives include the preservation of identity, economic justice, scientific inquiry combined with foresight, and wise leadership alongside localization. The practical implications of these principles involve constructing a conscious society capable of withstanding the forces of globalization and westernization without compromising its distinct identity. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the importance of achieving sustainable development and ensuring equitable economic participation to preclude monopolistic practices. Finally, it highlights the necessity of attaining social security and self-sufficiency through just leadership that optimizes the investment of community resources.
