Abstract Research topic: The doctrine of Sheikh Alaa al-Din al-Samarqandi (d. 539 AH) through his interpretation "Sharh al-Ta'wilat al-Matridiya". Researcher: Dr. Omair bin Awad bin Mohammed Al-Qarni Importance of the research: The importance of the subject is evident in several aspects, including: The subject is related to the doctrine of the commentator who wrote the commentary "Sharḥ al-Taʾwīlāt al-Mātrīdīyyah"; it is a reference among the sources of commentary, and it has scholarly value, multiple disciplines, subtle issues, and precise benefits. It is also important because of the author's advanced age, as he lived at the end of the fifth century and the beginning of the sixth century. Research Objectives: This research aims to introduce the scholarly status of Alaa Al-Din, present his doctrinal views, evaluate them, and compare them with the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamaa. Research Methodology: In this research, I have adopted a descriptive, analytical, and inductive approach in presenting doctrinal views and comparing them with the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah. Research Results: The research concluded with several results, the most prominent of which are: 1-Alaa Al-Din is one of the prominent Hanafi imams in the field of knowledge, especially in jurisprudence and its principles, and it is evident to the reader 2- Aladdin's severity towards his opponents. 4- Alaa Al-Din Al-Samarqandi followed the Maturidi approach in his interpretation. 4- Alaa Al-Din Al-Samarqandi disagreed with the approach of the Sunnis in matters of doctrine and agreed in other matters. Research Plan: This research is divided into an introduction, two chapters, topics, and sections, as follows: Introduction: It states the objectives of the study, the research methodology, and the research plan, as an introduction to the research. The second section is devoted to the study of Aladdin's doctrinal views. Conclusion: It presents the summary and results of the research.
