Abstract This study examined the level of economic education quality among university students in Makkah City. The study aimed to identify the level of economic education quality among university students in Makkah City. A questionnaire was administered to a sample of 70 male and female university students. The descriptive results revealed that the dimension of “The Reality of Economic Education Quality” obtained a high degree of agreement, with a mean score of 4.08, reflecting a high level of awareness and sound economic practices among the participants, including careful consideration before purchasing, setting priorities, and avoiding installment buying. In contrast, the dimension of “The Level of Economic Education Quality” obtained a moderate degree of agreement, with a mean score of 3.17, indicating the existence of practical gaps, particularly in saving skills and economic literacy. Regarding differences and relationships, the statistical analyses showed no statistically significant differences attributable to the variables of gender or academic major, indicating that financial challenges are shared among university students regardless of their demographic characteristics. Furthermore, the linear regression analysis revealed no statistically significant effect of the “reality” variable on the “level” variable, suggesting that individual economic practices alone are insufficient to improve the level of economic education without the support of a broader educational and institutional framework.
