Abstract The present study aimed to identify the role of the hidden curriculum in modifying students’ behavior and to explore the most prominent methods through which it contributes to achieving such modification. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive-analytical approach was employed. The findings revealed that the applications of the hidden curriculum are manifested in several important educational dimensions, most notably the development of values and attitudes, the enhancement of intellectual aspects, and the support of academic achievement. The results also indicated that the hidden curriculum contributes to behavior modification through a range of methods, including the development of social skills, reinforcement and extinction, avoidance conditioning, and role modeling. Furthermore, the findings demonstrated that the hidden curriculum has an effective impact on students’ behavior, as it contributes to promoting societal values, modifying psychological attitudes, and building a balanced personality. It also enhances social adjustment skills and increases intrinsic motivation for learning by providing a positive educational climate and activating moral reinforcement strategies. The results confirm that the hidden curriculum represents an influential educational tool in shaping, directing, and reconstructing students’ behavior in a manner consistent with the desired educational and societal goals.
