Abstract This study focuses on analyzing the trajectory of the League of Arab States in terms of its historical origin, structural framework, and foundational charter determinants, leading toward providing a forward-looking vision for its potential performance scenarios. Since the launch of the League in 1945 as the first model of regional institutions in the area, it has contributed a tangible role in activating channels of communication and joint action politically, economically, and knowledge-wise. However, this regional system has constantly faced challenges and obstacles that have prevented the full realization of its goals. The scientific value of this research stems from its adoption of a foresight perspective that analyzes the future pathways of the League among three options: stagnation and maintaining the status quo, change and gradual reform, or decline and extinction. To achieve this objective and examine the core problem in depth, the study relied on a rigorous methodological integration combining the historical approach to trace its emergence, the systems analysis approach to examine structural interactions, and the foresight approach to construct future scenarios. The findings concluded that institutional development is inevitable, revealing an absence of genuine efforts to modernize the charter and administrative structures to align with contemporary variables. Accordingly, the study recommended the necessity of formulating a comprehensive corrective strategy that rebuilds the League to keep pace with current political transformations in the Arab environment Keywords: The future , the League of Arab States , a forward-looking vision.
