Abstract This study aimed to develop an educational framework for analyzing the ethics of volunteer work from the perspective of Curriculum and Instruction. It sought to conceptualize the ethics of volunteer work, identify its educational dimensions, examine its relationship with values education and social responsibility, and explore mechanisms for integrating it into curriculum components to promote learners' values and prepare them for active community engagement. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach through a comprehensive review and analysis of relevant Arabic literature on the ethics of volunteer work, values education, service-learning, and social responsibility. Based on this analysis, a conceptual framework was developed to explain how the ethics of volunteer work can be systematically integrated into educational curricula. The findings revealed that integrating the ethics of volunteer work into educational curricula contributes to fostering core moral values, including sincerity, honesty, responsibility, justice, cooperation, respect for human dignity, and protection of privacy. It also strengthens social responsibility, teamwork, leadership, initiative, and active civic engagement through experiential learning approaches, particularly service-learning. The study further concluded that successful integration requires coherent curriculum design, qualified teachers, effective partnerships with community institutions, and assessment methods that evaluate ethical performance alongside academic achievement. The proposed framework provides practical guidance for curriculum development and supports the preparation of ethically responsible learners capable of contributing to sustainable community development.
