Abstract This study aimed to identify the degree to which future skills requirements are met in school education in the Sultanate of Oman, employing a questionnaire as the data collection tool, administered to a sample of teachers, educational supervisors, and school principals in the Governorate of Muscat, with the actual study sample comprising (111) individuals; the questionnaire, developed in light of previous studies, was finalized in a form consisting of (29) items, whose validity and reliability were duly verified. The study concluded that the degree of fulfillment of future skills requirements was at a high level, indicating that the school education system in Oman places considerable emphasis on these imperatives within the educational process, given their recognized significance and the beneficial impact they exert on teaching and learning practices in Omani schools. Moreover, the results revealed statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) in the degree of future skills requirements attainment attributable to job title, specifically with regard to the "educational environment" domain, while no such differences were observed based on the gender variable. The study recommends the adoption of a unified national strategy for the development of educational practices in alignment with the national framework for future skills.
