The Antithesis of Al-Farazdaq "Inn Aladhi Samak Alssama'a": A Stylistic Study

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate how the satirical literary discourse is formed in the poetry of contradictions in terms of the manifestation of its literary and aesthetic specificity, and to stand on the most prominent techniques on which the poet bases his antithesis, by reading antithesis of "'inn aladhi samak alssama'a" according to the stylistic approach in analyzing the text. It deals with the four levels: phonetic, structural, pictorial, and semantic. From these stylistic levels, it tries to answer the following research questions: 1- What are the techniques employed by the poet in the external and internal rhythms to embody in the text his own feeling in a way that affects the recipient? 2- How was it possible for the term in the text to exude an influential expressive ability in the textual context, with its lexical, morphological and structural dimensions? 3- To what extent was the synthetic structure able to be formed in the form of a factor of excitement for the recipient, and his participation in standing on the aesthetics of the creative text? How did you reflect the emotional side of the poet? 4- What is the pattern of the rhetorical construction of the text? 5- How was the artistic image of the text formed? What is the role of its sensory and moral sources in building it? The study concluded that the text, in all its stylistic levels, reflects the poet's sentimental feeling through two circles: the circle of feeling the elevation and greatness of the self, and the circle of feeling the humiliation and insignificance of the other. These two emotional circles were embodied in the stylistic levels of the text. At the pictorial level, the forms of photography varied, which helped to intensify the image, and transcend it from the stage of communication to the stage of influence and creativity. In the construction of the artistic image, a growing image appeared in the form of a contrasting image, based on two partial images: a luxurious image and another satirical one.
