Abstract
Blockchain technology is a technology for documenting records and transactions securely and with high transparency; Using smart contracts and records. Among the features of this technology are transparency, security, reducing intermediaries, and resistance to manipulation. Thus, this technology provides an innovative and secure way to document government transactions, enhance transparency and security, reduce opportunities for corruption, save time and effort, and reduce administrative procedures. Thus, blockchain technology contributes to improving the efficiency of government transactions. Increase confidence in government systems. From this standpoint, the research provides a comprehensive explanation of blockchain technology and its importance in documenting government transactions, with a presentation of one of the government institutions as a model, which is the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment in the United Arab Emirates.
