Abstract
This study aimed to identify the role of kindergarten female teachers in developing the speaking skills of children in the city of Abha from the point of view of kindergarten leaders, and to reveal the obstacles that prevent kindergarten female teachers from playing their role in developing the speaking skills of children in the city of in Abha from the point of view of kindergarten leaders. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey approach was used, and a questionnaire was applied to the entire population of the study, which consisted of the female leaders of public kindergartens in the city of Abha of 23 female leaders. The results of the study showed that: Kindergarten female teachers play their role in developing the speaking skill of kindergarten children in the city of Abha with a very high degree from the point of view of kindergarten leaders, with an arithmetic mean of (4.41). The female leaders agreed with a high degree to the obstacles that prevent kindergarten teachers from playing their role in developing the speaking skill of kindergarten children, with an arithmetic mean of (3.72). The study made a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: It is necessary for kindergarten teachers to allow time for children to talk about their families and friends, include educational trips within the teaching plan of children, educating the family about the importance of cooperating with the kindergarten to accomplish complete growth for their child.
