Abstract

This research aims at correcting the path of Hanbali fiqh studies and at correcting mistakes on citing to the fiqh school, its understanding, and its proofs. Some of the schools related studies wrongfully fall into misleading explanation to the essence of the sharia issues (Tahreer Al-Mas'alah), incorrect citation, or false proves on the opinions of the Hanbali School, among others. Such mistakes include the failure of not distinguishing between the levels of authority of the the school's scholars, the thought that the books of a Hanbali scholar are at one degree of authority, and the failure to realise the authentic ways to understand the texts of Hanbali school. Therefore, this research is an attempt to solve this issue by adopting the analytical descriptive and the inductive approaches. This is done through collecting the relevant foundations in this issue with appropriate additions to this context, by which the originality of this research is achieved
