Interpretation of the Holy Qur’an According to the Noble Prophetic Sunnah by Abu Al-Saud "898-982 AH." in His Interpretation "Guiding the Sound Mind to the Advantages of the Holy Book": An Applied Study on Juz’ Amma

Abstract

The research aims to: - prove one of the aspects that commentators have relied on in their interpretations, which is the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an according to the Noble Prophet’s Sunna. - looking at the Hadiths with which Abu Saud interpreted the verses. - extracting from them the aspects of explaining the Noble Prophet’s Sunnah of the Noble Qur’an. Research method: descriptive analytical. The research specialized in studying one of the ways in which the Holy Qur’an is interpreted, which is “Interpretation of the Holy Qur’an according to the Noble Prophet’s Sunnah” upon its author, may the best prayers and peace be upon its author, as it was an applied study on the interpretation of Abu Al-Saud Al-Amadi - may Allah have mercy on him -, in Juz’ Amma, in which I traced the hadiths mentioned by Abu Al-Saud. Al-Saud explained the Holy Qur’an, and extracted from the hadiths the aspects of the Sunnah in explaining the Holy Qur’an and came up with eight aspects of explaining the Qur’an with the Sunnah. Among the most prominent results I reached: -The status of the Noble Prophet’s Sunnah among commentators, and their great reliance on interpreting the Holy Qur’an with it. -The scientific value of Abu Al-Saud’s interpretation - may Allah have mercy on him. -The importance of applied studies and counting examples from which the aspects of explaining the Sunnah of the Holy Qur’an become clear.
