A Suggested Vision for Developing Chemistry Teacher Preparation Program at the Faculty of Education, Sana'a University, Depending on the Twenty-First Century Skills

Abstract
The current study examines the impact of twenty- first century skills on preparing chemistry teachers (college) of Education - Sana'a University. depending on the skills of the twenty-first century To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher adapted the descriptive approach, and the study instruments consisted of a list of twenty-first century skills and a questionnaire. The study population consisted of all faculty members and their assistants who teach in the Science Teacher Preparation Program (Chemistry major) at the College of Education - Sana'a University, in addition to all the student- teachers in the department (fourth level students majoring in: Chemistry). during the current year 2021/2022, where the total members of the population and its sample reached (89) individuals distributed into two categories.), The first category is the faculty members and their assistants, male and female, and their number is (43) members, including (18 males, 25 females), and the second category is student-teachers in the fourth level, male and female, and their number is (46) students, distributed (27 males, 19 females).), And that the number of those who actually responded and the questionnaires were retrieved after answering reached (80) ones from the two categories, the first category is faculty members and their assistants, male and female, and their number is (38) members distributed (16 males, 22 females), and the second category is student-teachers (majoring in chemistry) in the fourth level, males and females, their number is (42) students distributed (24 males, 18 females) The study set results, the most important of which are the following: 1-writing a list of 21st century skills. 2- (16) items/indicators got ratings of availability with a medium degree of importance, and (48) items got ratings of availability with a high degree of importance, and two items got ratings with a very high degree. 3- There are no significant differences, at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the respondents' estimates of the availability of twenty-first century skills at the overall level of performance and at the level of the axes (first, second, third, fourth and fifth) and the skills emanating from each round except the skill of directing and leading others. 4-Constructing a proposed vision for the development of a chemistry teacher preparation program at the Faculty of Education' Sana'a University. Depending on these results, the study presented a number of recommendations and suggestions
