Abstract
This research aims to collect and study, (the position of Shafi'i scholars on the doctrine of Ash'ari and the response to some contemporaries) broadcast in the folds of their books, and comment on what needs to be commented, and presented to the sayings of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah. -Showing the position of Shafi'i scholars on the doctrine of Ash'ari and Ash'ari. - Invalidation of the claim that the Shafi'i scholars are all Ash'ari, and the article: Every Shafi'i is Ash'ari and its statement and allegations. - A statement that the Shafi'i scholars are based on the doctrine of the predecessors and the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah. The researcher divided the research plan into an introduction, four sections and a conclusion, in which the most important results and recommendations, and then a list of sources and references. The introduction included the importance of the topic, the reasons for choosing it, previous studies, and the research plan. The research approach is descriptive inductive. The introduction included the introduction. And four sections: the first topic: the definition of Ash'ari and Ash'ari and the Shafi'i school of thought and has three demands. The second topic: the position of Shafi'i scholars on the doctrine of Ash'ari. The third topic: the saying of each Shafi'i Ash'ari and the response to it. The fourth topic: responding to some of the suspicions of contemporary Ash'ari: It has two demands. She concluded the research with a conclusion and a list of references. It is one of the most important results of the research. - Explaining the statements of some Shafi'i scholars warning against following the Ash'arites, and Explaining that their belief contradicts the belief of the nation’s predecessors. - The term "Ahl al-Sunnah" in its general generalization includes all sects affiliated with Islam except the Rafidites, but in the specific terminology it is limited to what the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions and those who came after them followed their path, limited to the Qur’an and Sunnah according to the understanding of the nation’s predecessors.
