Abstract

Current study aimed to identifying the university of Lahj colleges degree of leadership practice to transcendental Leadership which include (4) fields (Values and attitudes, behaviors, spirituality (moral elegance), vision, hope and faith) and effects of study variables (sex, college, scientific title, years of service), the researcher used the descriptive-analytical approach to achieve goals of study, the facilities leaders of the university of Lahj are (Deans of collages, Vice-dean of collages, Head of scientific departments, Departments managers) , society of study consist of (486) members (365 male, 121 female), they are all of faculty staff and assistant faculty staff who they have scientific title (Professor, associate professor, assistant professor, teacher, demonstrator) in collages university of Lahj, they are (6) collages, the researcher choose a category, randomly sample (146) members, percentage of (30%) from the original population of the study, the researcher used the questionnaire as a tool to collect and analyze data, it consist of two parts: first part about general information about the respondents, the second part about measure the degree to the leaders of the collages of Lahj university practice transcendental leadership, it consist of (34) paragraphs, they distributed over (4) fields, field of values and attitudes (9) paragraphs, field of behaviors (8) paragraphs, field of spirituality (moral elegance) (10) paragraphs, field of vision, hope and faith (7) paragraphs, used the statistical packages program (SPSS) to analyze the data, according to the results, the study reached to several conclusions, the most important that the university of Lahj colleges degree of leadership practice to transcendental Leadership was (Medium), average mean (2.96), standard deviation (0.554) , percentage (59.2%).
