Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of strategic management on the performance of media institutions in sultanate of Oman (Alwatan newspaper, Atheer newspaper, and Hala FM) as an example. The researcher uses descriptive approach for undertaking this study. The community of this study represents all the media organizations that work in Sultanate of Oman, while the chosen sample were the above three mentioned firms and 43 participators out of such sample participate on this study, the researcher uses questionnaire and interview for collecting the related data for this study. This study shows a positive impact of the strategic management on enhancing the performance of media institutions in sultanate of Oman in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, growth and survival.
