Abstract
Research Objective: The research aims to survey and catalog the verse endings uniquely enumerated or omitted by the first and last Madani, mentioning the ruling on pausing at them, and determining whether pausing or continuation is preferable. Key Findings of the Research: 1.The sciences of pausing and starting and the science of enumeration are interconnected, as they help determine which verse endings are suitable for pausing based on their connection to what follows, affecting the completeness of meaning and clarity of understanding. 2.The verse endings uniquely enumerated by the first Madani are three instances: in two, continuation is preferable to pausing, and in one, pausing is preferable to continuation. 3.The verse endings uniquely omitted by the first Madani are two instances: in one, pausing is preferable to continuation, and in one, both options are equally valid. 4.The verse endings uniquely enumerated by the last Madani are four instances: in two, continuation is preferable to pausing, in one, pausing is preferable to continuation, and in one, both options are equally valid. 5. The verse endings uniquely omitted by the last Madani are six instances: in four, pausing is preferable to continuation, and in two, continuation is preferable to pausing. 6. All verse endings uniquely enumerated or omitted by the first and last Madani, whether independently or collectively, do not fall under a single ruling for pausing. The ruling varies based on the connection of the verse ending to what follows in terms of wording and meaning.
