Iman "Faith" in & Glorifying Allah's Noble Beautiful Names: 'Al-Aziz' the Mighty 10.35781/1637-000-116-001

Abstract

The present study aims at clarifying the concept of Allah's Noble Beautiful Names and their enumeration as well as the ruling on having faith on them. The study also seeks to highlight the importance of studying Allah's Noble Beautiful Names, the virtue of knowledge about them and the excellence of supplicating with them. The inductive and deductive approach has been employed in this study, depending on the authentic texts to achieve the intended objectives. The study begins by highlighting the importance of knowing Allah's Noble Beautiful Names, followed by explaining their concept, and the virtue of supplicating with them in order to have one's prayers answered. Then it discusses the virtue of glorifying Allah with the name of 'Al-Aziz' and the benefits result from that. The study has been concluded with several findings, the most notable of which are that knowing Allah's Noble Beautiful Names and enumerating them, as mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah, is a form of worshiping Allah the Almighty. And the supplicating with Noble beautiful Names of Allah is one of the greatest means of having one's prayers answered. Moreover, the findings highlight the virtue of glorifying Allah with the name of 'Al-Aziz' that this religious act brings peace and tranquility to the soul, and leads to reliance on Allah in all life matters.
