Abstract

This study aimed to determine the impact of administrative creativity in its dimensions (authenticity, flexibility, fluency, and sensitivity to problems) in enhancing competitive advantage in Yemeni private universities in the capital Sana’a. It also aims to determine the reality of administrative creativity in Yemeni private universities, and to study the extent of interest of Yemeni private universities With competitive advantage. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the study followed the descriptive analytical approach and the correlational approach. The study population consisted of academic and administrative leaders in ten private universities, numbering (524) members. A questionnaire form was developed as a measurement tool and distributed to a sample size of (222) individuals, from which it was retrieved. (205) questionnaires were valid for statistical analysis, and after conducting statistical analyses, the study concluded: There is a high interest in applying administrative creativity, and a somewhat high interest in achieving competitive advantage in Yemeni private universities. The results of the study also showed that there is a statistically significant effect of administrative creativity in achieving competitive advantage in Private Yemeni universities, and in light of the results, the study came out with a number of recommendations, including: maintaining the level of administrative creativity as one of the most important mechanisms that affect the enhancement of competitive advantage, through developing the capabilities of employees for creativity and innovation, and the need to pay more attention to enhancing competitive advantage in all its dimensions, especially the cost dimension; Because it was the least verified dimension.
