Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of strategic planning on the management of crisis in the private firms in sultanate of Oman. Descriptive analytical approach has been used for implementing this study. This study finds that there is impact of strategic planning on the management of crisis in the private establishment in sultanate of Oman, further it is found that there are some challenges facing the implementation of strategic planning in the mentioned establishments, some of them, as example, law awareness of strategic planning, low number of qualified employees for strategic planning, allocating of small budget for implementation of strategic planning. The researcher provides some recommendations that could overcome the challenges and example of them train and qualify the employees in the public and private establishments regarding the strategic planning programs, spreading the culture of strategic planning among these establishments, allocating suitable budget for the requirements of the strategic planning implementation.
