The Prophetic Traditions and Narrated Sayings on Surah Azzalzalah: Collection, Authentication and Study 10.35781/1637-000-120-006

Abstract

The Present study dealt with Surah Az-Zalzalah. It aimed at establishing the foundation of Surah Az-Zalzalah's name, the cause of its revelation and its impact on the Companions of the holy Prophet upon its revelation, its theme and objectives. The study was also directed towards collecting Prophetic traditions and narrated sayings about the Surah under study and its moral quality, and then authenticating and studying their chains of narration, and that constitutes the axis of the study, and all that is carried out in the light of the methodology of Hadith scholars. The researcher has adopted the descriptive and critical method, and the study has highlighted the result of the study of Prophetic traditions and narrated sayings as follows: the whole number is (27) Hadiths and narrated sayings, among which the number of hadiths with sound chain of narration is (11) and the number of hadiths with weak chain of narration is (15), as well as one hadith the researcher did not find its chain of narration. The researcher has come to a conclusion in which the findings of the study are detailed.
