Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of education and its relationship to achieving sustainable development values through. It used the descriptive approach. The study showed that there is a close and direct relationship between education and achieving sustainable development values, as education is the cornerstone in shaping individuals' awareness and behavior towards sustainability issues. The results also indicated that the absence of sustainable values in traditional curricula represents a major gap that hinders the achievement of sustainable development goals within educational institutions. The study recommended that educational decision-makers include the concepts and values of sustainable development in educational curricula in a clear and systematic manner at various educational levels.
