Anomalous Readings and their Impact on the Interpretation of Surat An-Nisa 10.35781/1637-000-128-003

Abstract

The anomalous readings that have an impact on the interpretive meaning of Surat An-Nisa are scattered throughout, the books of interpretation, readings language, and others. These readings are of great scientific value, due to the impact and influence they have in clarifying meanings explaining, the, ambiguous, restricting the general clarifying the ambiguous, or other rulings. One of the objectives of this research was to highlight the importance of the anomalous readings by demonstrating the interest of interpreters and their impact on their deductions and statements. This was achieved by collecting the readings that have an impact on the interpretive meaning of Surat An-Nisa in one research that can be referred to and benefited from. I have collected these readings in this research, following the inductive approach, by collecting the anomalous readings that have an impact on the interpretive meaning, then the analytical approach, by studying these readings and comparing them with the transmitted readings, then the descriptive approach by analyzing and comparing these readings. The most :important results of the research were clarifying the importance of the anomalous readings in understanding some Quranic verses, and that many interpreters relied in clarifying the meanings of some Quranic verses or in preferring between the different sayings of these Quranic verses on the anomalous readings, and that the difference between the transmitted readings and the anomalous is due to the difference in variety, not the difference in contradiction.
