Abstract

Objectives of the Research: - To highlight the significance of gratitude in affirming Tawhid al-Uluhiyyah. - To clarify the meaning of gratitude and the contexts of its discourse in the Qur’an. - To explain the meaning of gratitude from Allah and gratitude from the servants. - To uncover the difference between the indication of gratitude and the inference from Tawhid al-Rububiyyah in affirming Tawhid al-Uluhiyyah. - To identify the blessings through which Allah affirmed Tawhid al-Uluhiyyah in the Qur’an. Methodology: Inductive and Analytical Key Findings: - The indication of gratitude in establishing creed is highly evident in the Qur’an, and the research highlighted the abundance of proofs presented in this regard. - The prophets (peace and blessings be upon them) employed the indication of gratitude in affirming matters of creed, including affirming Tawhid al-Uluhiyyah through it. - The discourse of gratitude in the Qur’an appears in two forms: either explicitly by the word ni‘mah (favor/blessing) or implicitly by conveying the meaning without the explicit term.
