Abstract

This research examines the doctrinal issues in the hadith of 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say to the sick: "In the Name of Allah, the soil of our land, with the saliva of some of us, our sick one is cured by the permission of our Lord. The study aims to: Analyze the ḥadīth from a doctrinal perspective according to the methodology of Ahl al- Sunnah wa'l-Jamā‘ah. Highlight the Shari'ah-based approach in balancing between taking the means and relying upon Allah Almighty. The research focuses on the doctrinal issues related to faith in Allah, and on acting upon the means while relying on Him-such as practicing ruqyah and seeking lawful medical treatment. The researcher adopted the deductive-analytical method by extracting the doctrinal issues derived from the ḥadīth, organizing them according to the outlined research plan, and then studying them from a doctrinal perspective.
