Abstract The research sample consisted of an experimental group of (10) students with an average age of (17.50) years, a standard deviation of (0.27), and a control group of (10) students with an average age of (17.40) years, and a standard deviation of (0.31), who were selected in an intentional way, and the research tools included The level of ambition scale prepared by a theatrical (2018), and a counseling program prepared by the researcher, and the results of the research reached the effectiveness of the counseling program based on of the general theory in the personality system and its treatment in improving the level of ambition among high school students, and the continuity of effectiveness after a month of its application, and the results of the research found that there is a statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the scores of the members of the control group, and the averages of the ranks of the scores of the members of the experimental group in the dimension measurement on the scale of the level of ambition in favor of The experimental group, and the existence of a statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the experimental group members in the pre- and post-measurements on the level of ambition in favor of the dimensional measurement, and there is no statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the members of the experimental group in the dimensional and post-measurements on the level of ambition scale.
