Abstract
Abstract The issue of women's rights has received significant attention from international human rights institutions and conventions. This study sought to uncover the women's rights included in Surat At-Talaq and to clarify the objectives of the Noble Quran in promoting them in light of Islamic education. To achieve this goal, the study adopted both deductive and inductive approach. One of the most prominent findings is that the Qur'an's objectives include honoring humanity and promoting the rights of all people through the application of Qur'anic guidance in all aspect of life. The Noble Quran is considered the first book to address human rights, and women's rights in particular, and considers them a divine gift and an unchanging religious duty. It affirms that much of what is stated in international conventions on human rights, and women's rights in particular, is a confirmation of what the Noble Quran has stated. The study confirmed that Surat At-Talaq includes educational objectives for achieving women's rights, supporting their role in raising children and preserving their rights to be treated kindly in all circumstances, thus preserving their dignity. Among the general objectives of this surah are caring for the family, addressing problems that arise between spouses, and clarifying the rights of divorced women. Surat At-Talaq outlines the rights of divorced women in a comprehensive manner, balancing justice and mercy and preventing psychological or material harm to women. These rights include the right to breastfeed and to receive compensation, raising children, as well as the right to housing, the right to livelihood, and the right to good treatment.
