Abstract

Abstract Research Topic: This study addresses the subject of “Irregular (typical) Qur’anic Readings”, reviewing the most significant works and studies related to them. The research aims to provide a comprehensive overview that enhances understanding of this important aspect of Qur’anic sciences. Research Objectives: • To present a comprehensive database for researchers in the field of irregular readings, facilitating access to information and promoting accurate understanding of religious texts. • To highlight the importance of irregular readings as a fundamental element in enriching Qur’anic studies. • To shed light on previous research and studies that have examined irregular readings, thereby emphasizing the significance of this topic in academic research—especially those that may not be directly classified under this category, such as works on canonical readings (qirāʾāt mutawātirah), sources of (Alnasher), and others. Research Methodology: • I will follow the inductive, descriptive, and analytical approach in studying this topic. Structure of the Study: The research includes an introduction, a preamble, three main sections, a conclusion, and indexes. • The introduction discusses the importance, objectives, and methodology of the study. • The preamble provides a concise introduction to irregular readings and comprises three subtopics. • The first section focuses on metrical (poetic) works related to the topic. • The second section covers prose works and includes seven subtopics. • The conclusion presents the key findings and recommendations. • The indexes include a bibliography. Key Findings: • The study underscores the importance of continuing the collection and documentation of works related to irregular readings to facilitate future research and deepen the precise understanding of religious texts. • There is a pressing need for further exploration of irregular readings, particularly those discussed outside their usual sources. keywords: Qur’an, Readings, Irregular (Typical), Works.
