Abstract

The study aimed to examine the level of development of the Educational Preparation Diploma Program in fostering social intelligence skills among scholarship students at the Islamic University of Madinah, as well as ways to improve it.The study employed the descriptive survey method to achieve its objectives and administered a questionnaire to a simple random sample consisting of 180 students. The findings revealed that the Educational Preparation Diploma contributes significantly to developing social intelligence skills among international students, with an overall mean of 4.06. Positive social relationship–building skills ranked first, with a mean of 4.20, followed by effective communication skills in second place with a mean of 4.15. Problem-solving skills ranked third with a mean of 3.97, while emotion management and regulation skills came last with a mean of 3.96. Furthermore, the developmental proposals received a high level of agreement, with a mean of 4.15. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of support provided by the diploma for developing social intelligence skills among international students at the Islamic University due to differences in college, academic level, or cumulative GPA. However, statistically significant differences were found based on continent, in favor of students from Africa.
