Abstract

Abstract This research aims to conduct a methodological comparative study of the role of Satan and his intensified works in the end times, along with the means of resisting him, in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, in order to highlight his danger and the importance of confronting him with sound creed. It adopted an analytical comparative methodology based on primary religious texts (the Qur’an and Sunnah, the Torah and Talmud, the Bible), with the research divided into four chapters focusing on definition, enmity, works in the end times, and resistance. Key findings: There is significant similarity between Islam and Christianity in personifying Satan and the escalation of his role, whereas in Judaism his role is limited as an angel tasked with testing. Means of resistance converge on faith and obedience to God but differ in details (remembrance and seeking refuge in Islam, Torah adherence and fear of God in Judaism, spiritual armor in Christianity). His role ends with final defeat in Islam and Christianity, and the automatic cessation of evil in Judaism. The results emphasize the importance of awareness of resistance means to confront the tribulations of the end times. Key words: The Works of Satan in the End Times, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
