Abstract
Abstract The Islamic Development Bank has financed vital sectors in the Federal Republic of Ethiopia using loan, donation, leasing and Istisna'a methods with a total amount of fifty-seven million dollars (57,081,091) million dollars in the period between 2000 and 2022. The Islamic Development Bank and its affiliated institutions came at an important time when the Federal Republic of Ethiopia needs investments and financing in vital sectors to revive the Ethiopian economy and reach the joint profit between the Federal Republic of Ethiopia and the Islamic Development Bank and its financing institutions. The economic and social sectors of the Republic of Ethiopia enjoy the economic and social feasibility of the parties investing in them. This study aimed to identify the developmental impact of the projects of the Islamic Development Bank in the Federal Republic of Ethiopia during the period from 2000 to 2022. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. The study concluded that the Federal Republic of Ethiopia received sufficient funding in various fields in the economic and social sectors in a direct and indirect manner, which revived economic and social development in the Federal Republic of Ethiopia.
