• Abstract: This study is titled “The Future of Autobiography: An Approach to the Transformations of Production and Function.” It examines the future of Arabic autobiography through an analysis of its current state, focusing on changes in its modes of production and its functions in the digital age. The study consists of two main sections. The first section presented a critical approach to the impact of podcasts of various types on the production of the traditional autobiography, and the impact of digital autobiography on the production of the traditional autobiography, regarding the production process. The second explores the functions of autobiography today and traces their transformation from past to present. This research is based on a methodology that predicts the future through an in-depth analysis of the key determinants influencing literary history and its transformations, and how it remains a valid mechanism for making predictions about the future of a literary genre. • Keywords: Future – Autobiography – Approach – Production – Function
