Abstract

This research, titled: (The Application Of Principles (Usul Al-Fiqh) On The Hadiths Of Divorce Form The Book ‘Umdat Al-Ahkam Fi Huda Khayr Al-Anam’ By Al-Hafiz Abdul-Ghani Ibn Abdul-Wahid Al-Maqdisi), Sbmitted by researcher Abeer Ahmed Fadhel Althagafi, aims to apply Usuli rules to Sharia texts to understand the Legislator’s intent and achieve precision in Ijtihad. It also demonstrates the effectiveness of these principles in regulating meanings, guiding the legally accountable (Al-Mukallaf), and transforming the theoretical rules of “Principles of Jurisprudence” (Usul Al-Fiqh) into practical results. The study adopted an inductive, descriptive, and analytical methodology. The research reached several findings, most notably: that the Hadiths of divorce encompass a range of diverse topics, and that Hadith commentators frequently employed legal rules. Furthermore, these principles are complementary to one another within a single Sharia ruling, and applied research significantly enriches the study of legal cases.
