Abstract The study investigates the evidence of the existence of Allah according to Ibn Taymiyyah, and the methodologies adopted in this regard, compared to those who preceded him. Since the belief in the existence of Allah is the substance of faith in Him the Mighty. First, the study investigates the method of the Quran in proving Allah's existence, in the Sunnah as well as the companions' approach in this regard. In addition, the study also discusses the statements of theologians on the evidence of Allah's existence, in light of Ibn Taymiyyah's responses. Besides, the study presents Ibn Taymiyyah's views on analogy in the attributes of Allah, explaining its meaning according to him, as a new term that aligns with the apparent meanings of the texts from the Quran, Sunnah, and the predecessors of the Ummah. The study's findings elucidate that the approach of theologians and philosophers in proving the existence of the Mighty Allah is contrary to the Quranic method and is a complex and difficult path. Furthermore, the study argues that establishing such conditions for belief in the existence of Allah is both incorrect and overly complex for the general public. The existence of the Almighty Allah is inherently known and instinctively recognized, reflecting Ibn Taymiyyah's perspective on the issue. The study also highlighted Ibn Taymiyyah's opinion that the existence of Allah does not need to be proved, as everything in the universe, from creatures to signs, indicates His existence.
