Abstract
This study sought to investigate and study the religious effects reported from the predecessors regarding belief in the Day of Judgment in the book Al-Durr Al-Manthur fi Al-Tafsir bi Al-Ma’thur by Al-Suyuti. The research relied on two approaches: the inductive approach, which involved extrapolating, tracing, and organizing these traditions, and the descriptive-analytical approach, which involved analyzing and studying the traditions through a doctrinal study, clarifying the opinions of scholars regarding its authenticity and weakness. The research reached a number of conclusions, the most prominent of which are: Imam Al-Suyuti is one of the leading imams who demonstrated the faith of the Salaf in his books of tafsir. He was keen to ensure that his tafsir, which is authentic, bears witness to the soundness of the Salaf's approach to faith. The book under study has occupied a prominent position in serving knowledge and faith, making it a primary reference for the Salaf's belief and tafsir, which is authentic, throughout the centuries. Imam Al-Suyuti devoted extensive attention to issues of belief in the Day of Judgment, collecting them from multiple sources, including the sayings of the Salaf, the Companions, and their Successors. The book covers texts related to belief in the Last Day and everything related to the details of the Last Day. It serves researchers in studying the approach of the Salaf and their belief in the Last Day in a comprehensive and precise manner.
