Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree to which principals of Cycle Two schools in South and North Al Batinah Governorates practice leadership coaching strategies from teachers’ perspectives. The descriptive survey method was employed, and the study sample consisted of (517) male and female teachers. A questionnaire was used as the study instrument, The findings revealed that the degree of principals’ practice of leadership coaching strategies in Cycle Two schools in South and North Al Batinah Governorates was high. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the practice of leadership coaching strategies attributable to gender or educational governorate variables. However, statistically significant differences were found in the practice of leadership coaching strategies according to the academic qualification variable. The results showed significant differences between diploma or lower qualification holders and bachelor’s degree holders in favor of diploma holders, as well as between diploma or lower qualification holders and postgraduate degree holders (Master’s/Doctorate),In addition, statistically significant differences were found in the practice of leadership coaching strategies according to the years of experience variable. The results indicated significant differences between those with (5–15 years) of experience and those with more than (15 years) of experience, in favor of those with more than 15 years of experience, In light of these findings, the study recommended the necessity of planning and implementing training programs.
