Abstract

It is common knowledge that having knowledge of Allah is highly prized. One of the most important things that should be taken care of by those who have gained it is the person who owns this understanding, or even the consciousness of all knowledge. The significance of this study is therefore made clear since knowledge-gathering techniques serve as the cornerstone of all human understanding, the greatest of which is the knowledge of Allah. Therefore, the researcher discusses the methods of knowledge among theologians and their relationship to the faith of the imitator. This is done to clarify the source of that knowledge and the difference between theologians in the methods by which he arrives at that knowledge. Furthermore, it clarifies the relationship between the methods of knowledge and the doctrinal issue known as the faith of the imitator. The study includes three sections and a conclusion. The research concepts (methods, knowledge, theologians, faith, and imitators) are introduced in the first section. The second section explains how to acquire knowledge and the main duties of mankind. The third section discussed the imitator's faith ruling, the disagreement among scholars regarding it, the reason for the difference and the preferred opinion regarding it. Then, the connection between the imitator's faith and the techniques of knowing is explained. In order to explain this, the researcher used a methodology that relied on the works of scholars of the principles of law and religion. The researcher spoke first about the methods of knowledge and then presented the scholars' opinions on them before delaying discussion of the imitator's faith because it is the result of this knowledge. The researcher cites its sources when discussing each problem. The researcher should explain the reason for the dispute, its nature, and the areas of agreement and disagreement among experts before assigning weight to it. The study concludes there is no conflict among academics regarding the importance of knowing Allah, even if they disagreed at the outset of this knowledge. The researcher decided to be content with information gained through any method in faith if it is certain since they differed in the faith of the imitator as a result of their different techniques of knowledge. As knowledge is the ultimate objective, the connection between the means of knowing and the imitator's faith therefore is apparent. Other factors and goals, however, are just intended to support it. As a result, if the imitator's faith is strong, it is considered. Otherwise, it isn't.
