The Difference between Fatwa, Imamate and Prophecy in the Sunnah of the Prophet: An Applied Jurisprudential Study

Abstract
This is a research titled The Difference between Fatwa, Imamate, and Prophecy in the Prophetic Sunnah. Its importance is evident in its clarification of the difference between the terms fatwa, imamate, and prophecy, due to the legal and methodological conditions and obligations that each term entails. The problem of the research lies in the question of the difference between fatwa, imamate, and prophecy in prophetic actions, and whether they are the origin. Reputable jurisprudence approved by jurists? Are there prophetic examples that explain these actions? What is the interpretation of jurists for these actions? The research objectives are to explain the difference between the previous terminology, mentioning prophetic examples of these actions, and reviewing the sayings of scholars regarding that and weighing between them. As for previous studies, there are ancient and modern original studies that intersected with this research. However, this research reviews applied models. The research adopted the method of description and analysis, and the plan included: An introduction to clarifying the vocabulary of the topic and explaining the subject of the dispute in the issues of fatwa, imamate, and prophet hood, and two topics: the first: on the hadiths on the difference between fatwa and imamate, and the second: the hadiths on the difference. Between fatwa and prophecy, the most important results of the research were that the sayings of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, (Whoever kills a dead person, has the right to plunder it), (Whoever revives a dead land, it is his), (Owner and it is his), (Perhaps it will be lightened for them as long as they do not wither away), is an act of imamate, guardianship, and legal policy. And considering the interests, and his sayings, peace be upon him: (And if he returns the fourth time, then kill him) ( ), (The virgin for the virgin shall be given a hundred lashes and exile for a year), (I will marry her to you according to what you have of the Qur’an), (Breastfeeding the elder), the conclusion of the special fatwa came out, and the most important recommendations are calling for universities to adopt Differences Prophetic actions Recommendations of study material, and holding seminars and student courses on these topics.
