Abstract

The study aimed to identify the essential educational planning skills required by the leadership of Islamic system schools in the Republic of Mali to enhance the quality of the educational process and ensure its alignment with contemporary requirements. The research adopted the descriptive-analytical approach and examined the key skills needed in this field, including: forecasting and future foresight, analyzing educational and environmental conditions, financial planning and school budgeting, and formulating strategic visions, missions, and objectives for schools. The analysis revealed that effective educational planning is a pivotal tool for achieving quality education and sustainable development, emphasizing the necessity of developing planning skills among educational staff. The study recommended providing specialized training programs, utilizing modern technologies, and fostering collaboration between educational and research institutions.
