Abstract
The current research aimed to determine the level of job satisfaction among academic leaders at the University of Saba Region. The research adopted a descriptive-analytical approach and used a questionnaire as a data collection tool, consisting of (67) items distributed across five domains. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of 38 deans vice deans and department heads, selected using stratified random sampling. The research concluded with several key findings, the most significant of which were: the level of job satisfaction among academic leaders at the University of Saba Region was moderate to low in most areas, indicating an average level of job satisfaction among the academic leaders. The results showed that the domain of job satisfaction and psychological compatibility ranked first, followed by the domain of job satisfaction and social compatibility in second place, both of which were rated highly. The third position was held by the domain of job satisfaction and administrative system, followed by the domain of job satisfaction, wages, and incentives in fourth place and finally, the domain of job satisfaction and supportive work environment in fifth place. The third fourth and fifth domains received moderate ratings. The overall mean score for all domains was (3.19), and the verbal response for most domains was moderate. The results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the (0.05) significance level between the mean responses of the sample regarding all domains, based on the variables of specialization، job position، and years of experience. This indicates the alignment of the perspectives of the sample, demonstrating that they agreed on the level of job satisfaction.
