Abstract

The current research aims at knowing Multiple Intelligence level for Kindergarten Children in the Sana'a City. The study aimed also to know whether there were significant statistical differences between the means of children in the development of the multiple intelligences according to the following variables: gender (male- female), the level of study intermediate (first level) compared to the preparatory (second level). The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. The study sample consisted of (261) children was randomly selected of both sexes, their ages were between (4-6) years. The study was done during the academic year (2020- 2021). The study tool was measurement of the multiple intelligence (Faculty of Languages Translation Center, Development by: the researcher). The study reached to the following results: - The levels of multiple intelligence among the kindergarten children ranged from (4-5) years between large and medium degrees according to the following order: (logical, interpersonal, kinesthetic, spatial, musical, naturalistic, intra-personal, and linguistic) intelligence, and the overall score is medium. - The levels of multiple intelligence among the kindergarten children ranged from (5.1-6) years between the large and medium degree according to the following order: (logical, interpersonal, spatial, intra-personal, kinesthetic, linguistic, naturalistic, and musical) intelligence, and the overall score is medium. - The result the children did not show any statistical differences in the total Multiple Intelligence according to gender variable, except in the sub scales of kinesthetic Intelligence, for male. - The result for the children did not show any statistical differences in the (intra-personal, kinesthetic, naturalistic, musical) Intelligence according to level variable, except in the sub scales of: (logical, spatial, interpersonal, linguistic) intelligence, and the overall score for Kg2 rather than Kg1.
