Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of business intelligence systems in developing intellectual capital in private hospitals in the capital, Sana'a. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was used. The study sample numbered (169) employees, and the questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting Data were processed statistically using the SPSS program. The study concluded that the level of application of business intelligence systems in the hospitals under study was high in all its dimensions. The dimensions were arranged in descending order: (supporting the competitive position, collecting and analyzing data, analytical processing (immediacy, business performance management, competitive intelligence) as there was interest in applying business intelligence systems, and the hospitals - the subject of the study - are highly interested in the availability of intellectual capital in all its dimensions: (structural capital, human capital, relational capital). And there is a positive role with statistical significance Business intelligence systems have a significant impact on developing intellectual capital in the hospitals under study. The impact of each dimension of business intelligence systems on developing intellectual capital in hospitals varies. The study recommended that the hospitals under study pay more attention to and continue using business intelligence systems. Business, as it is a strategic tool for the growth and development of financial and banking services, and for leveraging the advantages of business intelligence technologies to enhance the quality of healthcare services.
