Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to examine the level of availability of the human dimension of organizational culture in Islamic higher education institutions in Sierra Leone, and to propose a framework for its improvement. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing a questionnaire as the main data collection tool. The sample consisted of 204 faculty members and institutional leaders. The validity and reliability of the instrument were confirmed, with a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0.92, indicating high reliability. The findings revealed that the level of the human dimension of organizational culture was moderate, with an overall mean score of 2.78. Organizational expectations ranked first, followed by organizational beliefs, and then organizational values. The results also indicated deficiencies in areas such as organizational trust, transparency, and job satisfaction, highlighting the need for improvement.
